By quickly sliding the stylus back and forth against the bottom screen, Sonic will start running faster and faster, blurring the top screen the quicker he goes. After breaking the sound barrier, the display transforms into a dynamic slow motion presentation. While on the run going for the best time, players are collecting coins in Sonic's path by tapping the upper part of the screen to make the blue hedgehog jump.
